Formerly known as the Heritage Tour, the Eureka is 5-point ski design that is a "must ski to believe"! At 115 underfoot with big tip rocker, the Eureka floats on any powder day. Despite appearing significant under the ski boot, the Eureka turns on a mind-blowing dime. The rocker profile also means it skis a bit shorter than its length (size up!), and aggressive sidecut makes it more than a one-trick pony. The Eureka skis like an old friend with a buttery feel and stellar maneuverability.

My first Meier ski demo was the Eureka 174. I was amazed at how nimble the ski was for the length and width. My second demo was the Big Hoss 170. Super stable at higher speed and carves such nice turns. The early rise tips helped with the ski floating over the bunched powder moguls and soft chunky snow. I ended up ordering a pair of the Big Hoss with a graphic from the Meier choices. I can't say enough about the staff and the quality of the skis. My skis will be delivered just in time for a trip to Europe where I'll get to try them in some deeper powder. Just because I chose the Big Hoss over the Eurekas doesn't mean that I won't end up with a pair of those too in the not too distant future.
