What’s more Colorado than building your own ski or snowboard? At Meier Skis, you’ll work side-by-side with our expert builders to craft a custom ski or snowboard tailored to your style, ability, and goals on the mountain.
*NEW* We’ve made our classes more flexible. Instead of fixed dates, you’ll coordinate directly with our team to schedule your build. We recommend two half-days (typically 12 PM – 5 PM) over consecutive days for the best experience, but we’re happy to work with your schedule.
With a maximum 4 participants per session, this is a hands-on, small-group experience where you’ll be involved in every step of the process. The class wraps up with the highlight: watching your skis or snowboard come out of the press.
Your finished gear will be ready for pickup (or shipping) about one week later.

Class Pricing
Reserve your class date with a $1,500 deposit. Customer service will then reach out to finalize your ski or snowboard model and graphic choice and send an invoice for the remaining balance.
Skis - Standard $1,995 Graphic matches ski model. Pick ski model and length two weeks in advance.
Skis - Semi-Custom $2,250 Choose from our library of existing graphics. Pick model, length, and graphic two weeks in advance.
Skis - Full Custom $2,500 Work with our designer to create a custom graphic. Class is scheduled once the graphic is complete.
Snowboard - Standard $1,750 Graphic matches board model. Pick model and length two weeks in advance.
Snowboard - Semi-Custom $2,000 Choose from our library of existing graphics.
Snowboard - Full Custom $2,250 Work with our designer to create a custom graphic.
What You’ll Do
Day 1: Build your core and base. You’ll glue, re-saw, cut, and shape the foundation of your ski or snowboard, then attach and finish the sidewalls.
Day 2: Head into the press room (the fun part). You’ll prep materials, lay up your ski or snowboard, and watch it go into our custom-built press.
Come back in about a week to pick up your finished gear (or have it shipped) — and get ready to ride something you built yourself.

Can I build any shape I want? No - you’ll choose from our proven lineup of 20+ models and lengths. You can fully customize the graphic.
Do I get to pick my graphic? Yes. Choose from standard, semi-custom, or full custom (working with our designer).
How long does it take? Two half-days (typically 12 PM – 5 PM). Pickup or shipping is about one week later.
Can I bring someone with me? Due to space and safety, we discourage this. Observers are $250/day and cannot participate.
Are meals and drinks included? Yes! We keep you well fed and hydrated.
What if I mess something up? Our builders handle the highest-risk steps, and you can opt out of anything you’re not comfortable with.
Is this suitable for teens? Yes, participants must be 16+ with a parent/guardian waiver.
What should I wear? Closed-toe, non-slip shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Do I need experience? No prior experience required.
Are they still under warranty? Yes, your skis or snowboard come with our 3-year warranty.
Already own Meier skis? You’ll get 10% off (deposit remains the same; no other discounts apply).
When is the balance due? After your graphic is finalized (at least 7 days before your build).
