What is a Craft Skiery?

Meier Skis had humble roots and started in a one-car garage in Glenwood Springs back in 2009. In 2016, we made the big move to Denver, and that’s when our growth really took off. By 2019, we’d settled into our current South Broadway location, and it’s been off to the races ever since.

Our Craft Skiery is the first of its kind in the world, and it’s unique to the Meier Skis shop. It’s a beautifully decorated, comfortable space where you can look, touch, and flex Meier skis—fresh out of the press. At this rustic-meets-modern bar, built from actual ski core, you can settle in and watch skis being pressed through large glass windows.

Our physical location allows skiers to buy directly from the source or demo several models with expert guidance from our Skitender. We also tune any brand of ski or board in our full-service tune shop, and registered Meier owners enjoy 20% off all tunes and future Meier-made purchases through the Meier High Club.

Visit and tour the Meier Factory to see how our Handmade Skis from Colorado Trees come to life. We offer two tour options depending on how deep you’d like to dive into the ski-making process.

Happy Hour tours are at 5:30 PM from Labor Day through April, Monday - Saturday. Reservations required for ski factory tour.

Meier Skis offers two tour options to learn about how we turn trees into skis. Barstool tours of the World's First Craft Skiery are offered anytime we're open.

Grab a seat at our bar made from ski core wood with windows looking onto the factory floor. We'll pour you a complimentary local beverage while a friendly skitender explains the ski building process. For a more in-depth look, visit us at 5:30 PM (just make sure to make a reservation first!). Then, you can go behind-the-scenes and learn about each step in the ski making process.
