Perfect Pairing

The Prospector is a great backcountry ski and when paired with the Meier skins it’s a win win. Extremely light and float effortlessly. Have them mounted with 22 Designs AXL and at times you almost forget they are on your feet. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a true backcountry slayer

San Juan Prospector

Waited to write this review until I had one day off piste as well as one day piste skiing . I purchased the Prospector mainly to replace my K2 Coomback for strictly a backcountry set up and maybe a small percentage at resort. Due to its weight and float is shines in the backcountry though it can hang at the resort but isn’t as aggressive or able to charge say like the Big Hoss can. I would highly recommend this ski for anyone looking for a solid backcountry ski with sweet graphics!

Can’t wait

Given the time of year, I won’t have an opportunity to let these loose for a few months yet - but I’m definitely looking forward to it! I bought these from the demo sale, and there isn’t a nick or scratch on them!

Backcountry Joy

Super light for efficient skinning and absolutely built for solid alpine descents. Could not be happier with the Prospector as Meier continues to raise the bar. Now my fourth Meier ski, I am a customer for life!

Prospector 96

This ski is to soft for hard snow or ice but I got them for side country excursions, which have yet to materialize, I am also concerned with durability if I ski the a lot in bumps. They turn predictably and are fairly light I have Solomon shifts on them so I think they will be great at their intended purpose.
