FRIEDL: A Film by Chris Anthony

Join us at The Couloir for a screening of FRIEDL, filmmaker and professional skier Chris Anthony’s documentary about Friedl Pfeifer, an Austrian ski champion, World War II veteran and a founder of Aspen Ski Corporation.

From Austria to Sun Valley, through service with the 10th Mountain Division and back to Colorado, Pfeifer’s story connects some of skiing’s most influential places and people. Anthony discovered that story while researching a sequel to Mission Mt. Mangart.

A film night that gives back

Screening proceeds benefit the Chris Anthony Youth Initiative Project, which creates educational experiences and opportunities for young people.
