Meier took feedback from heli and cat skiing operations to find out what they most want and need in a powder ski. The exciting result is the Claim Jumper.
This ski built for big mountain powder skiing was featured in The Daily, which highlights the noteworthy products as the official publication of Outdoor Retailer. We were honored to be featured by author Cameron Martindell during the 2020 Outdoor + Snow Show (article below).
Mining for white gold? Here's the ski to stake your claim on epic fresh lines.
Colorado-based custom ski maker Meier Skis tapped heli-skiing operations to find out what their guides and clients most want and (maybe more important) need in a powder ski. The result is the Claim Jumper - a name that unites the line under the common theme of mining, a nod to Colorado's 1880s heritage... Dimensions for the backcountry-worthy Claim Jumper are 149-124-140 with a 22m turn radius (in the 185cm length). The girthy waist fills a gap in the brand's 19-model lineup between existing skis with 110mm and 130mm waist widths. Consumers can buy the Calim Jumper in shops or custom order it with their own personalized graphics from Meier's Denver-based factory.
Ever scoped the most epic powder line only for someone to swoop in and claim your stake? Meant for the people that get that epic powder before the others.
